Ok so im mating a 6.0 Ls2 out of a truck To a th 400. so it had the 4L80E behind it which has a bigger torque converter so the wholes on the fly wheel are about an 1/8" off from a 4l60E.
Im mounting a turbo 400 behind the ls2 which has the same pattern as the 4l60e. I bought the new flywheel and crank spacer from advance adapters to fix the problem http://www.advanceadapters.com/products/pn-712500a4/
I cannot get the torque converter to push up tight to the flywheel, the nose on the torque converter is bottoming out inside the crank before it hits the flywheel
does this torque converter look like it has and extension on it to you guys? think it could be turned down? it looks to be the exact depth thats not allowing it to go in all the way.
also I can fit a 3/16" bit in between the flywheel and torque converter before I slide it all the way to the flywheel. anywhere from .187 to .20 is that to much?
