Trans things.

Hey guys. I'm getting ready to get some trans stuff done. Which coolers do you recommend? Also I'm going to change the pan. Thinking about doing the drain plug upgrade from mopar. I believe it's like 30 bucks. What about a flush vs just a fluid change? Anyone know anyone?

My trans guy advised against a flush. I drained and refilled mine a few times to get it all changed.
If you can afford it, get a temp gauge and a cooler with a fan you can switch on if temps get higher.

Also never disconnect the factory trans cooler in the radiator. Temps will skyrocket.
Run the aux cooler in series with that.

Edit ;;;;;; I have the stacked plate cooler.

I got a flex-a-lite direct fit for my CJ. Had to modify it a bit to make it fit but seems to be doing well. I plumbed in after my factory radiator cooler.
