I just got another alternator from a friend and I cant seem to find it online by the numbers I have to figure out the amperage. It is a remanufactured Champion HQ Alternator with the numbers 13-1773HQ and below it 08-30-95-06. can anyone help me find out what amperage this is please?

crossing that number on napa's website it looks like it is most likely a 100 amp alternator, with a smll chance it is 140 amps. champion shows the same part number for both

Will the brackets, pulley and regulator work? Alternators are not all that universal... if you've got to make custom brackets, rework your wiring or mess with pulleys it might just be cheaper to have that one rewound to a higher amperage.

What are you running that you need 100amps on a Samurai?

im not junning anything yet but I plan to put an electric fan, lights, winch and stereo in the futur here. the gm bracket I have needs to be widened just a couple centimeters and then it will work so all I have to do is find a pigtail for this and then its going on. Oh and I also have to put a v-belt pulley on it from another alternator.

The plug looks exactly like the one on my son's 87 MJ. I just put a GM alternator in his comanche from a chev suburban and only had to rotate the front mount of the alternator a bit. So I bet you could use a GM plug or a renix era jeep plug which ever is easier to find.
