I'm going to be hauling my truck down on a trailer to moab this year and was wondering if anyone has any suggestion's on where about's to park a truck and trailer for a few day's,I also would perfer to keep them at camp with me....Not wanting any riff-raff screwing with anything.
Any good camping area's around with parking that's not crowded? I was thinking about the pritchet canyon campground but cant remember how much a night or per vehicle or if you can?.Any sugg?

We have stayed at a few, but like the portal the best so far. They have a large field just beyond the regular camping area for parking extra trailers etc. We stayed once in a tent and left our trailer and tow rig in the field for the duration without any problems.

the 2 campgrounds on the highway to poisonspyder/dino tracks have trailer space, motel 6 next to dennys has a hoop load of room for pull through trailer space, also if you stay at the adventure inn they have quite a few trailer parking spots.

Dont know if your set on staying right in tow for your trip, but if your planning on running prichet, at the end of the trail , if you take the easy way out ,there is still free camping there. its about 15 miles away from town but well worth it if you dont like crouds.

If you dont already have reservations somewhere for EJS, you had better just plan on staying somewhere by the end of Pritchett, or just across from the begining there is a field that they open up for camping then too. I dont know what it costs there, but its much closer to town.

in between moab rim and pritchet that field sucks cuz of the bugs and the price.

85 bucks for 3 nights... crazy.... NON SPRING BREAK.

so ya i would go to the end of pritchet and camp for free.

I am planning my first ejw this year. I will be hauling my rig on a 16 ft trailor and have reserved a spot at Dowd Flats RV Park 2701 S Hwy 191. Anyone have experience with this camp ground?

I have stayed at canyon lands and slick rock before, they have good spots for groups with trailors. They didnt have spaces for ejw though.
