Truing Alloy Wheels

I bought some used JK Rubicon rims to throw on my cherokee. While getting my tires mounted we found that one wheel had slight out-of-roundness. It threw the wheel out of balance about 4oz. They got it to balance out, but I feel like you'll always notice a rim out of round. Should I run it or get it straightened? It's very slight, like 1/8"ish.

Ummm,

I might be missing something but aren't JK's 5 on 5" and XJ's are 5 on 4.5"...

I don't think they will fit...

Other than that run that rim on the back and go...

If I do need to true it, has anyone here had an alloy rim trued?

I have adapters for the rims.

I believe the adapters will negate any rim truing you’d be able to do? In my experience, a factory rim is about as good of wheel as you’re going to get vs a cheaper aftermarket version. If you’ve got an out of round factory Rubicon wheel, I’d try to find a different wheel rather than go through the expense of getting it trued and possibly being disappointed in the result?
