TSL troubles?

i've noticed the d/side rear tire on my zuk is starting to tear straight down the middle of the tire. is this normal? the blocks of tread are just splitting straight down the middle.... i can get a pic later... it's not seriously deep, but kinda strange....

anyone know whats up?

do your tires rub? I have seen that happen when you have rubbing...

if so, i'm not aware of any rubbing..... i know the fronts sometimes rub on the rock sliders, but they aren't tearing.... wierd stuffs i tells ya :-\ ....

rub on anything that has an edge, mostly the fenders...they will slice intoa tire in no time at all. It happened on my dads S10 after I jumped it a few times that would be my best guess...I have never seen a TSL split... :-\

My SX's have splits in the sidewall where the tread wraps down the sides. They don't seem to leak though :-\

i know what ya are talking about when i first got my sammy it had TSL's on it and they did the same thing as your's i had no rubbing either? dont know what it is from though

Have you been wheeling in the snow over rocks ? Water will cut rubber like butter. Dont bealive me take a butter knife and try to cut some rubber. Thean do it under the faucet and you'll be amazed. Mine are split also but from spinning them in the water.

i do alot of the skinny petal on ice/snow all the time....... never woulda thought...
