Tube Protractor

Been a while sisnce I have bent tube and now I need a cage for the RZR. Has anyone used one of these http://jd2.com/p-110-bendicator-protractor.aspx

I haven't used it at all yet, but I did make this one for myself...based on the Mittler Bros. style rather than the JD2 you linked. Seems like a good idea still.

I've only drawn the one size, which is 1.75" tube, 5.5" radius.

So I went ahead and bought two of the protractors from JD Square. I'll update when I receive them.

I made one that is kind of like this. I took two metal yard sticks and bolted them together. It worked very well except it didn't give me the radius of the bend. I have a few projects coming up that I feel the JD2 one will work very well for.

Just an update, I received both my 1 3/4 and 1" JD2 protractor and I must say, these are very nice. My only hold back would be the price. $130.00 for two is a bit steep.

Damn, for a little more you could have bought Bend Tech software. I love it, it tells me where to mark the tube, how many degrees to bend it, and I can print notch patterns on my printer for each tube.
