Tubing prices.

Its been a couple yrs since I bought tubing so who these days has the best pricing on DOM?. Looking for a couple sticks of 1.5 x120 wall DOM

I know Wasatch has hrew bought that lots for random projects. That's why I said DOM, And I don't need enough to buy from marmon.

Yup call JC, Dusty at sexton sells it as well but its so far out of the way its not worth the gas it takes to get there

Well if you must buy only 2 sticks and it must be DOM, then JC is a definitely a good bet.

Metal Mart wasn't bad last time I called them but the drive sucks (for me).

Yes it must be DOM, don't want to smash tube first trip out

X2 when did this happen? I asked a couple months ago and they said they don't carry it.

There were some DOM remnants at Metal Supermarkets in Salt Lake last time I was down there, makes me think they carry it. Nobody ever mentions them though when buying metal comes up, do they suck?

Metal Supermarket does carry it but they just buy from marmon and inflate the price super duper high. But if you need small amounts for bushings or such its nice to have a place that will sell it by the inch.

Metal Supermarket is VERY expensive. They sale DOM, but imagine buying only one stick from Marmon. That's what they would do than they put their mark up on it. MS is great for getting small remnants and such. Still very expensive, but cheaper then buying a large piece from somewhere else, if you will never use the rest of that piece.

Marmon is the place to go for a group buy. The price comes down pretty fast after about 10 sticks of one type. With an account there, you can do pretty well with less then that. Otherwise JC has the best deal I have found. He buys from Marmon, but spends $5k at a time.

I was down at sss steel this morning getting some other needed metal and guess what they had 4 sticks of 1.5 .120 wall DOM on hand.(didn't know they sold it) So I got em wasn't too bad priced I think it was 3.70ft but he said they don't carry it often.

That's an excellent price.

I need about 4-5ft of 1.5 .080 wall DOM or 1.5 0.060 wall chromo, if anyone has some.
