I am thinking about lifting my 07 toyota tundra. I think i want to put 35" tires on it but i dont want to go super high and be one of those gay bleached hair puka shell wearing frat boys. I dont really know what brands to stay away from. i know that for jeeps superlift and procomp suck balls, but i am wondering about for a truck lift. Thanks for the help

I would stay away from tuff country. I had their lift on my 01 tundra and broke their stuff all the time(3 sub frames in a year), granted that was 7 years ago and things may be different now. I also didn't like the ride or the mileage after the lift either, but it did look awesome! I assume you have the 5.7 not the 4.7 so that will help. I'm leaving the new one stock.

we have had several of there lifts and great success.. i broke my procomp and replaced the single bracketwith a tuffy part cause they gave it to me and never broke again!! so to each their own.. i was also way to hard on it!!

they do have the 6" lift for your truck on the shelf and ready to go.. talked to them today!!

Mileage will take a hit no matter what brand of lift. I would also consider doing lower gears to retain some power and mileage. I'm no help on the lift itself though.

I would not go with tuff county they suck. I would go with RCD but I don't think they have one out yet. That meens that they are doing more testing to make it right.

Not to start an argument but please explain your reason for your strong dislike for their products.. i have had nothing but good luck with them..

usually it comes down to installer error.. not correct torque, allowing bolts to loosen and allow movement and then brakage.. now have you ever broken a lift or are you one of the ppl who never maintains there truck?? when all else fails read instructions!!!

not an argument, just a question!!

you can ask anyone I,M HARD ON STUFF TOO!!

I have heard good things about 6" procomp but its a little expensive. im in the same boat im looking at lifting my 2010 tundra and i cant decide between 6" procomp or a 7" BDS. i wanna run either 35 x 13 or 37 x 13.5

I have a Fab Tech on my TJ. Never again will I buy one. Their big joints lasted maybe 5K miles, their quick disconnects are junk, and the shocks lasted maybe 8K miles.
