(Shane, Greg, when the official thread gets posted plz combine this in?)

The U4WDA Summer Convention will be in Lehi Utah on August 2nd!

There will be 7 trails offered, please go here for more details and registration.

I've thrown together some map packs for the different trails, each pack will have directions from I-15 to the staging area, directions to the secondary staging area (if applicable) and the actual trail, all of these will be provided in the following formats a .kmz (Google Earth), a .kml (Google Earth), a .gdb (Garmin GPS data file) and a .gpx (GPS eXchange)

Constrictor - Rated 5+

Do you have a description for Black Rock Canyon? I have heard about it but not much else...

I'm not sure if he is just doing the loop in the map or hitting up some of the other stuff in the East Tintic range. If he is just doing the loop there is nothing hard about it, but there is some pretty cool scenery.

For all you folks that want to test your skills, Giggling Grammy and I will be the leaders for Little Moab. We have plenty of competition and recovery experience. Little Moab is rated 5+ so bring the best of your junk and expect some carnage
Pre registration is important. Save a few bucks on dinner and if you do it by the 15th you will get your packet in the mail :)

UNSTUCK

But stuck more often.
I wonder if there's going to be time for the west desert groups to head over to Little Moab after thier trail runs? There is a short cut through Allens Ranch road.

You could easily take that way home, in fact the trail leader may intend to do just that.... I dunno as I have not talked to him about it.

My current plans are to do whatever Bear needs me to do. If he needs me to lead/gun I'll be riding with Bodine, if he doesn't need me for anything then I'll be riding with Bodine preferably on one of the AF Canyon trails, sorry I can't give a better answer than that. I'm going to call Bear tonight or tomorrow to see if I can hammer down what I'll be doing. If you two want to do MEG you'd better sign up soon as I think it's nearing capacity. In any event, I'll be around for the festivities. :)

What's the plans for the little moab run? Just go out and play around for a few hours I assume?

Yea kind of. There are lots of lines out there from mild to off the scale. There are a few of us that have pro experience that can spot and recover if needed. Or you can just come out to watch the cazyness. I am playing this by ear and what ever the majority of folks that sign up want to do we will.

So I pre-registered sometime at the begining of the month and still haven't gotten my registration packet I guess it shouldn't be a big deal so I guess I'll see some of you there tomorrow.
