I have a super8 reservation for Friday and Saturday night, which also now has an extra bed (I’m a happily married homophobic). I can leave anytime Friday, and open for Sunday (early departure, or wheel away).

Anyone interested please let me know soon, so I can decide to go, or cancel the hotel.

p.s.
even if you have other passengers but would like to tow your rig, give me an excuse to take my rig ... I'm actually kind of interested in watching and learning at BFE anyway, and might just take the car otherwise ...

I don't have a backseat, but welcome you to join us. Chris has a backseat and said you are welcome there. If anyone has a TJ rear seat that I could borrow, I could strap my son back there and you could ride up front with me.

Chris is also coming up early Friday and going home Monday, if that interests you... Oh, and he is staying at the Motel 6...

Just made my reservations at the Days Inn... looking forward to saturday! I spend some time last night prepping the 4Runner for the trip, that thing is in bad shape... it's a POS. :rofl:

Well I may be able to get off work on Saturday by 1 PM
If I can I'll drive down for chili and hotdogs and meet some more
of the people on here.
I don't think I'll be taking the Ranger on any trails though,
3 liter, 30 in. worn AT tires, IFS. It does have a posi rear and 4.10s.:rolleyes:

i'm hoping to roll in town around 9-10pm... i think it'd be fun to do a night run either that night or saturday night...

A friend is coming in town early, and we were going to hit golden spike. If it's just he and i, then we'll probably run poison spyder (i think it is) on the way.

Outpost fixed my rig this morning, so for the test run I ran part of Pritchett. I turned around about 4pm, but I came pretty close to rocker knocker I think. The trail was in good shape for the most part. There was a place that slid down and blocked part of the trail. Another area where the creek crosses the road, has erroded part of the road. The one area with the big washed partion in the middle of the road is getting a LOT worse... No recent tracks, so it hasn't been ran in awhile. It was dry in most parts. Some of the stream crossings were iced over. But I think it will be a good trail come Saturday - unless what ever is going on right now leaves any snow... Right now it's flurries here in Moab and it's cold with the wind.

Just talked to Chris, and they are planning on heading out at 4am, get in town and get some breakfast. Then we'll all hit trails..... Give us a call at 10, and we'll see where we are all at....

Where were you when you turned around. From the stream crossings it sounds like you were within a quarter mile of RK. Glad to hear you're fixed. Have a blast.

I'm not stretching my rig (yet), but I'm with Bart. I've got quite a few issues (some Jeep, some not) that are blocking me from heading down. I'm at work on a 'vacation day'. :rolleyes:
