It's fine. I'd stay there again. What was your rate? (deciding if I want to freeze my arse off in my 'tent-trailer' or buck up and have a nice warm shower in the morning--everybody would appreciate me having a shower, I'm sure)

$55 and night plus tax... king size bed, refigerator, breakfast, bla, bla... $55's not bad at all in my experience...

The best I can do on priceline, expedia, hotwire, hotels.com and travelocity.com is about $45 at the Super 8. The Super 8 does have room for trailers, though. The Best Western does sometimes, but the parking lot can get crowded so I've always parked on the street with a trailer there.

Ramada-$50,
Super 8-$45,
Sleep Inn, $49,
Best Western Canyonlands-$55ish,
Best Western Greenwell-$45ish,
DaysInn $45,

I believe Motel 6 was $35 a night - a friend is staying there, I'll be at the Best Western.

I was orignally going to do the tent trailer thing, until I found a room at the BW for $55 a night... Hardly worth packing the trailer and etc....

I believe SAMI and I are at the Canyonlands Best Western (not the one with the water fall), and they were $55 a night....

Not the answer I was looking for... I have no interest in driving 1500 miles to see the same white sh*t I have been shoveling here for the past 2 months.

I want 60's, blue skies and maybe a light breeze at night. Not inches of snow, with chances of more during the day and possibly even colder than it has been here! :-\

We just made a deal with Marianne's Bakery here in Moab. They are going to be selling hot coffee, cocoa, donuts, muffins, cookies, etc. at the meeting place before our departure. They have the best home-made pastry in town!

Will these shirts be available for puchase at the event?

I live at the north end of the valley, just at the mouth of the "portal" and there is only snow in the shady areas around my house.
