It was a blast. Too bad we broke, we were doing really well (for us) before sheering out steering arm in half coming off the big drop off the hill. We're such underdogs that it's just fun to see how we can compete with rigs that have several times the money into them.

Great race. Amazing vehicles and drivers. Absolutely top notch. I can't thank everyone that helped out enough, what a great community we have.

Way cool race, this is definately the new wave of racing.. All about horse power, you need at least 400hp to keep up and 500-600 to pull away..

It looked like he lost his transmission just short of the finish line in the final. But he had a monster comeback after a bad mistake in the semifinal or quarterfinal (can't remember which), and he also nipped the Lovell car in the air over the finish line in one of the heats (may have been the same one). He's got a fast car that's fun to watch.

From my perspective car #4484 (Beach) was 4th. I was on the radio with all track officials and there was no question that he had 1 rock course lap left after the full course yellow for recovering Nick Campbell out in the rocks. Casey then hit his last rock course and rallied to a 4th place finish.. Why Dave (head Ultra4 dude/score keeper) didn't get the same info that was being reported by the officials out in the rocks, as well as Little Rich, I have no idea. It's a tough situation for Dave. There oughta be a video review of all laps made by Beach just to verify who is 100% right. But, like I said, I was on the track official radios as well as watching Beach since I was rootin for him. He got 4th from my POV...

Anyone have the full video?

Is there a rule about the number of laps that can be completed under full-course yellow? Is it just one lap and than all subsequent laps don't count until racing goes green again? I was super confused as to what happened there with Casey too, seemed he was way out ahead?

I say 4th! I filmed it. I counted the laps also. Why was he in the first position at the restart, then cross the finish line with car 1,2,and 3 and not take 4th?

I will admit I dont understand the rules, but it looks like somethings up.

He was prequalified for King Of The Hammers, but what about his points? His sponsors expect alot as well.

... Why was he in the first position at the restart,

That is why I wondered if they had a limit on the number of laps one can complete under the all course yellow? Because he completed a full lap ahead of all those on the rock-course but it didn't count under the full course yellow, they put him in front? I didn't understand that at all...

The way I understand the rules, is that the lap you are currently running counts under a full course yellow, but no more than that one. Once you cross Start/Finish under the lap that had a full course yellow, no more laps count until the green flag comes back out.
