I have thought about locking each new thread so ONLY the first listing post shows. Nobody could comment, all offers would have to be done thru PM's, email or phone.

I've seen this work very well on binderbulletin.org (IH site). Only the original poster can make new posts in a classified thread. Replies from the original poster are bumps and "sold" announcements.
