URBAN WHEELING??

So I was wondering how many of you would be down for some urban wheeling??

Here's my idea, In the north west corner of the Lavell Edwards stadium at BYU there are a TON of probably 4' tall snow piles. It looks to me like they push the whole parking lot of snow into this corner. If i were to estimate I would say that the piles are about 100 YDS long and maybe 20-30 YDS wide. It looks like small dumptruck loads of snow that are real close together so it's almost like a rock garden only with snow, going from a 4' hill and down to the parking lot. (I hope I am making sense)!
So every time I drive by there I think, I want to swing in there and wheel through those.
I thought I'd get on here and see if anyone wanted to swing by there and check it out, just to see if you thought it would be worth getting a group together to go, or if it seems like a stupid idea.
I was also wondering if the cops would give us a hard time? I don't know why they would, what are we hurting, the snow?? ha ha.

Kinda looks like the pic, only with snow!

I don't know dates, I'm pretty swamped with school till the end of next week.

Tell me what you think??

I've been stuck in plenty of parking lot snowpiles in my day....but I'm not driving to "happy" valley to find any more.

I've been "pulled over" for playing on a pile of parking lot snow before. The officer told me it was similar to a reckless driving ticket, but he may have been full of poop.

if you are on private property, you can not be given a traffic ticket. (Any LEOs chime in here) You can however be cited for tresspassing by the property owner if they so choose.

Got stuck on my receiver hitch the last time I went Urban Wheeling in the snow..... Ironically it was at the mall in a Bronco on 31's.....

Redneck's before me had perma-mounted the stinger into the hitch, and when I slid backwards down the hill to back off it, I high-centered on the hitch.. The nose of the bronco was 12', or more in the air, helluva snow pile..... ain't really done it since.

You may not be able to crawl it at all, unless it is nice and cold. As in well below freezing. Usually, parking lot-esk snow piles are unclimbable at first, as you will just sink into it. After a day or two, some of the snow melts and then freezes again within the pile, giving it some structure, and you can play on it as long as it is frozen.

I think if it is not super cold, you'll be pushin' snow. :)

The snow is dumped from trucks that gather it on campus, BYU is big on permisson I wouldn't do it unless you talked to them first

I saw I guy a couple of years ago take his built tj into the Orem skate park once to do some urban wheeling kinda cool until the orem cop drove by did a double take then came back and gave the guy a ticket for reckless endangerment destruction of public property and something els it was kind funny to watch :p
I would defiantly be careful on the BYU campus even if the regular cops cant give you a ticket the campus police sure can I know I used to skate on the hand rails near gate 7 at the stadium when I was younger and got kicked off all the time, one of my friends is band for life and has had several tickets.

good luck if you try though ;)
