I'm down to the brakes and socks on my sas and everyone is telling me the banjo bolts are discontinued and we can't find them. The axle is out of an 87 Wagoneer. Does any one by chance have any laying around?

Pretty sure I used xj (1992) banjo bolts when I swapped in my waggy 44. Go to the parts store and look at what they have

I've tried auto zone, Napa car quest, and Doug Smith. everyone one says discontinued. It's retarded. The same banjo bolt fits 1990-98 Dodge pickups.

Drill and tap to a slightly larger size that is available. What size are they now? I think the later ones were 3/8".

The waggy brake calipers are the same as chevy brakes from the same era and there are tons of them available at the local junk yards. I used chevy truck brake hoses and banjos on my waggy 44 as a cheap way to get extended brake lines. On my son's jeep we used full sized chevy van lines for even more length. I probably have some laying around but will have to check.

When I talked to the Doug Smith guy he said they were discontinued, then tried to cross reference them to an aftermarket part with no luck. He said the only other rigs with the same pattern were the 90-98 Dodge pickups.

I am going to check the salvage yards for those first. Then I may have to drill and tap. I just worry about getting shavings inside and scaring the piston.
