Say no more, fellas. Friend of mine has two 1800's for sale cheap, and one of the older, 40's lookin' deals.

I could get prices if you're interested. :D

Are they P1800's or P1800 ES's? The ES (Estate) being the wagon. And the other one is probably an Amazon.
Not that I'm in the market right now, but what condition and whats he asking? I know where a brace of P1800's (both styles) are in various conditions but they still fetch a decent penny in good shape.

Love the old Volvos. Not that it's old but the wife drives an 01 V70 XC. Been a great car.

I have been putting an '89 740 turbo wagon back together. My parents always had Volvo wagon's when I was growing up and I have always loved them. My son will be here in December and I figured he would be safer in this than my Honda civic hatchback.

My interest with Volvo's are mostly 240's and earlier. Though the V70 R from the past decade and the C30 have often piqued my interest.
Good luck with the rebuild. If you need parts or information I know a guy. He's a bit of an eccentric, but he knows his Volvo's.

I would absolutely love to have an S60R... beyond that, they are nice, but nothing to write home about.

They do tend to last forever tho...

Did you ever see the V70 with Volvo portals? I've always thought that'd be a sweet ride to drop the kids off to the soccer games.

It's not a photochop, it was a build from years ago. I'd imagine the ride is a bit rough with those leafs up front, but damn that thing would be awesome to cruise around the backroads and mall parking lot and PSH. ;)

I'm pretty sure it was built for Paris Dakar....and it's rad. I love that thing.

Some info here, and here

The engine is the new common-rail D5 diesel from the S80/V70/S60. The regulation demands a 39 mm restrictor for the air intake to the turbo, because of this we need to re-optimise the programme for the engine management system. We plan to take out 240 horsepower and a torque of 425 Nm. The powertrain consists of a five-speed gearbox and a synchronised transfer case from the 6-wheel C303

I had the pleasure of talking to some of the guys that work on this, at the WEROCK/SCCA deal a couple weeks ago. THIS is the Volvo I want. :D That or the Corvolvo or whatever it is-- the station wagon with the Vette motor. :D CORRECTION: it's the Volvette. :D

I never saw the silver one, but did see an orange one set up with the portals at SEMA about 5 or 6 years ago. Gave some thought to pimpin the wife's, but she said.... -_- Well I can't say what she said, but she didn't like the idea.
