Welcome, there is something about the old restoration projects that I like.
Welcome. The ford is my favorite because it isn't a jeep
Hey lets not start this, we can give him a nice warm welcome.
It was in jest. I like the one with the orange wheels, but I really like the Ford. I've been really impressed with their newer F-150s. Welcome. It's awesome that you have so many cool rigs to choose from.
Welcome, everything but the ford is awesome. To each his own though I won't give you any crap for driving one
Yes, I could go on and on. I should probably start a thread somewhere with all the work that has been done. It is a 1948 CJ2A that my great grandfather purchased new back in 48. In 1976 it got reregistered and parked in my grandfathers garage. It didn't move for 30+ year when I inherited it when he passed. I have rebuild everything. Every nut, every bolt, everything. It has been a slow process but in the decade that I have had it I have not come across a nicer one. I still have to run the wiring and paint the hood, fenders, grille, and windshield and it will be ready to go. Looking back from a cost standpoint I wish I would have done what my friends told me to do and just lift it and turn it into a crawler but from a historical standpoint I am very very happy with it. It is simply priceless.Welcome! That restore project looks awesome. Any more details?

I like this guy! Jeeps and Fords, love the CJ7. Leave it to some TOYota guy to bring up brand wars.
Flatfenders trump all, always.

I apologize, that was poor taste on my part. I don't want to start that whole thing again.
