Hey everyone! Stopping in to properly introduce myself and my rigs. I'm Dan and I'm a 4WD addict. I currently live in Lehi and own an insurance agency there that along with my wife helps support my habits. Here are my rigs. Tell me which one is your favorite and why.

Hey lets not start this, we can give him a nice warm welcome.

It was in jest. I like the one with the orange wheels, but I really like the Ford. I've been really impressed with their newer F-150s. Welcome. It's awesome that you have so many cool rigs to choose from.

It's fun to do a little hazing with the new guys Steve. And I guess Fords and all bad sometimes.

Welcome, everything but the ford is awesome. To each his own though I won't give you any crap for driving one:D

Thanks! If Jeep made a vehicle that could tow both of my rigs at 80MPH I would buy one but since they can't the F-150 was the next best choice. I am a Jeep guy but that truck can out-everything all of the rival 1/2 tons. Not opinion, only fact. I looked around for a long time before buying the ecoboost.

Welcome! That restore project looks awesome. Any more details?
Yes, I could go on and on. I should probably start a thread somewhere with all the work that has been done. It is a 1948 CJ2A that my great grandfather purchased new back in 48. In 1976 it got reregistered and parked in my grandfathers garage. It didn't move for 30+ year when I inherited it when he passed. I have rebuild everything. Every nut, every bolt, everything. It has been a slow process but in the decade that I have had it I have not come across a nicer one. I still have to run the wiring and paint the hood, fenders, grille, and windshield and it will be ready to go. Looking back from a cost standpoint I wish I would have done what my friends told me to do and just lift it and turn it into a crawler but from a historical standpoint I am very very happy with it. It is simply priceless.

I'm not a Ford guy, but that Ecoboost truck rocks. Unbelievable power from a v6. Eb101 on here has one. Three of us were in it on the way to King of The Hammers. his Bronco was on the trailer as well as firewood, camping gear, and spare parts. We were sitting still and he says "watch this" punches it and begins to boil the tires! I'm unsure, but I think it will pull a load about like a stock diesel might.

You made the right choice to restore it with the history you have on it.
