We're looking for someone to volunteer to teach the Communications 101 class at our RME Quarterly Training day.

We'd like someone to be able to speak about the following topics for 30min-1hr.

- handheld radios
- cb radios
- ham radios
- sat phones
- other

If you have experience in this area and you're free to teach on April 20-21, respond to this thread. We'll waive your entry fee if you're instructing. We don't want a PhD level training, but we don't want guys who have only read about Ham radios on the web but never used one before.

I do not have any experience with satellite but have CB, FRS, and Ham 2 meter. I would fill in if you don't get a better offer. I taught classes on ham and CB before but would have to brush up as it has been awhile.

they are taught outdoors in a big outdoor tent right next to the rock crawling course. We will have a projector there if you want to do a PPT.

We don't need to get too in to depth. We don't want it to require an EE to understand the class.
