according to Snopes, he was a car crash victim, and he died of infection later. I was thinking that there was no way that leg stayed viable with all the blood to it being blocked like that. Sure looks bad.

wow that is so awful. :sick: I guess wearing a helmet in this instace did not help him a bit. :(

I really do wonder if he lived or not. I am sure that if he did we will see his story on Ripley's Believe It Or Not in the near future, or on some Discovery Health channel show.

I heard he lived and was walking normal after 6 months. I received that email a while back, but I deleted it, and it gave full details of how it happened and his recovery.
