Hey Poop Why Dont You Tell Teveryone That You Did Not Pay Creasey In Full Before The 3 Months That Your Jeep Sat There. Im Not Defending Them By Any Means But If You Dont Pay For It Why Should They Bust Ass To Get It Done In A Week Or Month Without Payment No Shop Needs To Return A Vehicle To The Customer. So If You Didn't Pay Him Why Should You Get Your Frame Back? (bad Welds Or Not)... And That Is Just My 2 Cents. Side Note Brandon Does Do Great Work And Do What He Says...

First off, Why would someone pay for work in advance? If a shop does not have the assests to cover the cost of the build up, up front, then run away from a shop like that. Second off, if poor work is done by the shop, and you have paid in advance, what leverage do you have? I would NEVER put money up front. You pay for the work upon completion of a project not before.

hmmm...How can you say your not defending them? it sounds like you are and you also have had him do all of the work on your jeep. You don't have to be embarrassed If you like the work they did then just say it. :p

I know that here at OLM, that's not always the case. It's really depending on the job. Say for instance we have to bring in a couple grand in parts-We will always get the parts $ up front to help offset the cost of having multiple jobs in the shop. Full builds are a whole other story, again all I am saying is downpayments are not unheard of and help keep doors open.

This I can understand, however, it is not the customers fault that you have so many projets going on. Infact, if I walked into a shop and saw many projects going on it walk make me feel much better about the shop. I would also like to add that my above comments are based on a shop/store/department that I had no prior experence with. I would not have a problem applying a parts deposit to a shop that I have had previous experences with or have heard many positive comments about. Point #2, if you have a project and you have alot tied up in it in parts and labor, doen't that make you want to complete the work as soon as possible so you can get paid? If a shop has received partial payment, is the shop pressed to complete the work on a timely manner?

I'm not pointing any one shop out over another just simply stating how I feel.

Carry on.....:D

Agreed with that, sometimes it's hard to cover a couple grand in parts for eight jobs at once. I always took deposits to cover any restocking of parts ordered in if a customer had to back out of the deal. Matt, do you have the number for that guy in CO for the rim yet?

Another point, you're lucky to have gotten your vehicle back before paying for the work done to that point, or did you? Well, just remeber that a mechanic's lean can be put on the vehicle if the work doesn't get paid for, but most leverage to that is gone when the vehicle leaves the shop.

ACTUALLY POOR YOU KNOW WHO DID MOST OF THE WORK ON MINE. YES I HAVE BOUGHT ADDITIONAL PARTS FROM SAID SHOP AND HAVE ALWAYS HAD TO PUT MY MONEY UP FRONT TO GET PARTS AND SHIPPING. I AGREE WITH OLMS ON THIS MOST OF THE SHOPS THAT I HAVE HAD DEALINGS WITH HAVE HAD SOME IF NOT ALL OF THE MONEY FOR PARTS UP FRONT.-_-

First off Sue his A$$, get Gephart, then go pi$$ on his tire.:mad2:
thats bad, bad, bad!! Creasey will never get any of my business or anyones that asks me my opinion, and if he is stuck and needs a tow I'll just kick dirt on him. You must do something about this! if someone had prior, maybe he wouldn't be around to do this to you. I had $6,000 in work and parts done by a shop they never asked for any money up front and they are a small shop. They did great work and even a year later they fixed some stuff that they were concerned about for free (but i think they were just being over cautious), but thats the way they should be. Thier prices were way cheaper than anyone else and thier work was great. No One can justify that crapy work unless thier trying to kill you! And if you can defind this, post it and i'll kick dirt on you too.
Good luck POOP

Those welds do look crappy. Sorry, that happened to you poop. I am also sorry that the said shop let that leave thier shop like that because they have work hard and put up with a lot of crap to get where they are today. I have had work done there before and have had no problems and I will go back.
