Done it twice. Second time we hiked all the way to the colorado. Both times stayed about 5 days

first time, we backpacked everything in ... second time, we lived like kings ... packpacket personal stuff in, but hired mules to haul in coolers, tents, and other heavy stuff
3 times the hard way and twice to the Colorado for me also, last time just about did me in, I blame it on my Jeep habit .
Took my 35mm camera and tripod the second time and got my best shots on slide film.
Next time I'm all for the helicopter rides, staying in the "hotel" and eating at the resturaunt, packing only a camelbak w/ waterproof camera container, Then instead of hiking all the way to the colorado - playing on the rope swings and swimming holes between Mooney and Beaver falls....
