I know there are some web guru's on here and I've got a question if someone is able to help out. I'm building a flash banner for my homepage to keep it more active. I built the site using Dreamweaver, but I do know a little bit of hand-code.

Is there anyway to have a rotating banner in Dreamweaver? Like the one on here that randomly shows a different ad each time you reload.

Thanks,

I use google ad manager. You can load all of the banners, then select the rate of rotation and it does it for you.

I use a template though, am I able to select a certain spot on the homepage only? I definitely don't have my website built the ideal way, as when I built it I was just learning as I went. Does Dreamweaver not have an option for this? This won't be for other companies to advertise with me, and it doesn't need to be clickable. It just need to be active, and maybe each visit a different flash banner comes up.

edit: thanks for the link, I'll look into both of those.

We use Openx - http://www.openx.org for rotation calculating & tracking.
This is what I've used as well. All you need to be able to do is insert a bit of javascript. Openx will track impressions, clicks, etc and rotate through banners. You can also set weights (say you have one advertiser you want to show more often, you can do that) or you can set it to X number of impressions if you want to give allotted amounts of impressions/clicks, etc.
