When My dana 44 rear full floater get's up to speed (60) it leaks axle oil all over out the locking hub.
I pulled everything out to the bearing and it looks fine. I just thought it was the speeds that made it come out but to try and combat the mess I strapped a inner tube type seal on the outside of the hub and it just made a balloon of oil and exploded.
I was thinking of just throwing some gasket maker behind the selectable hub but that will probably blow out too. I have tried to clean out the breather on the axle but it seems clean.
Should I make another breather to combat the pressure thing or am I looking at it wrong?
Would hub slugs fix it?
