i'm actually gunna excort a small group of 4x4 van owners through hells revenge later in April... this was a exploritory trip to see if it is doable in a van, so that the group can have it as a trail option!!

The hell it is! I can prove that it is not lions back. not to mention I have taken both entrances (dump bump and bypass) into hells revenge.

I don't know exactly why, but I'm not real thrilled with the vans on that trail. I'm not a big fan of the bypasses anyway {you're kind of dumbing down a pretty cool trail if you take all the obstacles--BYPASSES SUCK...if you MUST take them, find a different trail}, and if you let vans in, you might as well let the Mustang club run the trail too......stack a few rocks, maybe cut the sandstone out so they can make it up and down the hills................maybe just pave it. That'd be cool........
I'm all for people having fun with their chosen rig, but there are appropriate places for rigs to travel safely......I'd hate to have something happen to someone in an unprepared rig. Those are probably as unprepared as possible.
