Got my dodge back together today after hitting my buddies trailer on the way to koh. We changed the radiator in mesquite and threw some weld one the intercooler and kept on cruising with one headlight, a mangled bumper, fender, and 5 hrs behind schedule. While i was replacing the fender and intercooler i went ahead and did the killer dowel pin fix on it. I pulled it out with my fingers:eek: It was hanging way out there. Glad i caught it before it went and wrecked my motor. It would of been sad to wreck my 167000 low miles 12 valve motor.

Okay YROC, I gotta hear the story about how you hit your friends trailer.

The simple answer, I was too close. We got off the wrong exit in mesquite to get to walmart (GPS error). Instead of getting back on we drove all thru town. He hot rodded his truck all the way thru town like he does all the time so i did my best to keep up(too close). We got to the round about by the free with walmart in our sight. I seen a semi with a box trailer in my peripherals in the round about coming around(right away) and then my lady pointed it out and i took my eyes off my buddy for a second to look over and then she screamed to stop. My buddy thought it was gonna keep circling but nope it was getting out of the circle and onto the on ramp. We were at the merge. My buddy had to lock his truck and trailer up to not get t boned by the semi, and i was too close. I locked it up too and had time to swerve into the left lane but didnt want to get t boned by some one so i opted to hit trailer with the p/s corner of my truck. I was fully loaded with a weeks worth of crap, my buggy, and 4 wheeler. It bent my receiver hitch. We where making good time too, It happened around 10:30 am. Drove 700 more miles with one head light and a leaky intercooler.

Rubbins racin

And this. Both our rigs got pretty beat up from playing "Tag" out in the desert for a week

Found this 6x9 craftsman belt/disc sander in my shop when we moved in. Always wanted to get it working . Just need a motor and build a stand for it.
Turned it over and there's a bunch of webs and spider eggs but nothing looks alive.

So far it looks like a c-clip popped out.
I took em off ,cleaned out the grooves and bent the clips back in to shape. All fixed.

Started making a simple stand for it , using scrap 2x4, angle and a wheel. Also mocked it up and balanced it evenly.
I can always fill the wheel with concrete if I need the extra ballast.

Need to find a electric motor for it soon.

F-200 Story of a F.O.R.D.

Panhard bracket V 2.0 and '77 F-150 power steering upgrade for my brothers rig. Rough weekend. I had to rescue him at Knolls at 1am when his tow rig burned up the RF outer wheel bearing. We made a full roadside repair and cannibalized the crawler for a bearing. Had to re torque at Clive but we made it in at 4am. Saturday while I began fabricating, he rebuilt both spindles of the tow rig.

Now after we we barely got a nap it was time to begin this daring fab job before he had to be back in Nv tonight.

One of of these days I'll start the thread about this truck. I plan on offering a weld up kit

I cant tell from the pics, are you running a 20" wheel ?
Ive got some 285/35's that came off the Camaro you could use for rollers and burnouts etc...
2 of them are pretty darn good and the other 2 ( rears ) have a little less tread... They produce nice white thick smoke lol
Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar. Good track day tires.
If you can use them they're yours. I wont ever use them but couldn't bring myself to toss them, they are over $350 each new.

Started organizing my (flat tire gear) cause having the bottle jack under the rear seat sucks w/ passengers and gear.
I left the jack sitting in the back since my last flat. I thought id make a permanent mount near the spare. A solution to a quick tire swap scenario.

Dont know about you, but I want to get a spare on as fast as possible.

I always get a good laugh looking at a whole yard sale of crap next to vehicles while they change a flat tire.

Cute little bugger, eh? The bumper met my shin for the last time today. It got cut off while EBryson was finishing up the "Joop" sanding.

... I need to find one like that for my religious excursioner kid.

Manual trans units with 4.0L are pretty easy to find under $5-6k. Finding another auto is proving challenging, though. I'm SHOCKED how prevalent the TJ D35 is. I thought there was about a 1 out of 4 ratio or so that had the D44. I'm seeing more like 1 out of 8-10. I have plenty of time to find what will work for him. I need to sell the 2 door Cherokee before I get to excited about going to $6k

Yeah im trying to avoid the yard sale and the tornado of stuff that just gets thrown back in after.
Also getting a spare changed out in 5min is my goal. Unless the lugnuts get spilled . [emoji1] [emoji6]
