Looks like a shitty job to do. I'm going to have to replace the whole subfloor in my kitchen, it's that wonderful 70s particle board garbage.

Dude that sucks. I'm currently (slowly) replacing a drain in basement shower here. Previous owner thought he could just glue a shower drain into an existing floor drain................... no words. ?♂️
I decided to drill a bunch of holes to make breaking up the concrete easier (no local demo hammer rentals avail?) I need to finish this but ugh.

I think you just one-upped me. Yup, you definitely one-upped me. But I did spend all of last Thursday digging up a septic tank in the hills on our property to figure out why it was plugged. I got super lucky though, it did not stink at all. Wasn't expecting that.

A perch for my daughters birds, complete with poo pan.
1" tube for the stand, 3/4" for the perch supports, 3/4" flat bar to hold the pan, and 1/2 conduit wrapped in

I did some horse trading with a good friend that acquired a couple of these belts sanders from the IPP power plant in Delta. Home depot doesn't sell any 3 phase anything and it was the weekend so the commercial electrical supplier in town was closed so i made a 3 phase switch so i could test this monster out. They had the switch on the wall at the plant so the unit didnt come with one.

Nice. I used to use one of those building stainless handrail parts. It was so far beyond overkill for that job, but made some pretty quick work of rounding corners and such.

Made a anti tip plate for the belt grinder. It takes alot of force to tip in three directions but the motor side doesn't take much to tip over. I dont plan on bolting it to the floor so this was the only logical option.
I tapped the 5 holes as seen. The bolt in the corner will be an adjustable foot to get rid of any rocking from uneven surfaces. Scrap 3/8 plate.
Welded 3 nuts on the opposite corners from the tapped corner to make little feet to contact the cement so it wont rock.
Its super stable in all directions now. I can push as hard as i want into the belt and it wont move or wiggle. Its close to 300lbs.

Cut off my crash bar and rotated my electric swaybar up and out of the way.

This is the bolt you need. Then get a couple steel sleeves/spacers that fit over the bolt.

I made a couple of fruit picking baskets. I started with an old paint roller so it will fit my telescopic paint pole, I can get to the top of the tree and keep my big butt on the ground

Wrapped up the color change on the Harley. I decide to add stretched bags, stretched rear fender w/ filler panel and relocated the license plate as well.
