so I have decided it might be time to sell my Jeep. It is a 92 Cherokee has a 4 inch lift 33 inch no name tires. With a mid arm kit on it a dana 44 rear end an extra 30 housing for the front. I have the sub-frame connectors not yet installed along with integrated rock sliders also not installed and I will have a lock right and some other parts here soon. So what do you think it is worth realistically if I sold it as a whole.

I need to get out of debt so bye bye toys and extra car. Sucks but if everything works out as planned I will have a buggy and new truck by next spring

that last sentence seemed self contradicting but good for you for getting out of debt.

with XJ I think it's all about condition and capabilities. some people also only like the 97+ so that might hurt you.
do some research on KSL and price accordingly.

I agree. A mildly built XJ in my opinion is worth more to keep than what you'll get out of it. Especially if you are planning on just buying a buggy later.

XJs are the kind of thing that you have fun with until literally it doesn't move anymore.

On the other hand, the cash you can get out of it is more than what's in your pocket now, so I understand selling it. The whole get-out-of-debt-now-to-buy-a-buggy-and-new-truck philosophy has some loopholes in it, unless you are using the money from the current toys to hire a hitman on a wealthy close relative?

I am not going to buying a truck and buggy. I have a buggy in progress and as far as buying a truck anytime soon (unless I find an AMAZING deal) it wont be anytime soon. I have a few creditors that I have fallen behind on. But with some upcoming raises I will be in a MUCH better spot to afford toys.

I have never understood the mentality of getting into debt over a hobby. Sell what you absolutely do not need in order to live until all your debts are paid off, then pay CASH for everything you WANT, if you can't pay cash for wants then your NEEDS will start to suffer. And if you can't pay cash for something you want then it can wait. I hope all of that made sense.

I agree and that goes for any 4x4.
