Check out Mary Ellen Gulch, it's a neat place. Not real hard, but fun & little traveled.

Also, there's some neat stuff above Silver Lake. Just be careful....

which one is that??? I was up there the other weekend and went up a trail above silver lake that went up the south side of the mountain there...I never saw any signs and I was looking, infact they had just recently redone a little bit of the trail at the top where it opens up to a pasture area...I also went up the north trail (the one you go through the camsites to get to) there wasn;t any signs on it either just a dead end at a mine shaft...so which one is it???

It is the one where the roadwork has been recently done that goes up to the top of Major Evans Gulch (one canyon south of Mary Ellen Gulch)

The people that own all of the land at the top (mineral leases) want to close it for "restoration" and to reduce liability after that rollover sometime ago... EZ Rhino and I talked with the FS Rangers about it for a minute...

If you're going next weekend, can I come? Pretty please? I'll be good, I swear. I've tagged along behind both Kurt and Man-Boobs, you know I'm capable and content following bad-ass rigs.
