The Krispy Kreme in Grand Junction closed down! What the crap??? I L-O-V-E my Krispy Kreme doughnuts and this puts a very serious kink in my wedding cake plans as well. I am very distressed and wanted to share my pain. That is all.

Well, that just proves it....you are the giver of bad advice! KK's are most definitely at their most amazing when hot, but any other time they are still quite delicious. No "globs of gunk" there...

Last time I looked that way it was still empty with dead grass and weeds. I think they do have them at that new store there, but it is just not the same as eating them fresh out of the frosting waterfall.

I've never been a fan of KK either.... After hearing all the hype, I had to try one... :sick: Duncan Donuts is better! Heck, the 2 day old ones at 7 Eleven are better

I think you'd like a kick in the ass from the Krispy Kreme Krew. They're so doughy and flubbery it's like a massage, and who doesn't love a massage?

KKs are REALLY good, but I am a BIG fan of the little independent donut shops....they are always sooo good!
