what to do with a racoon in Davis county?

Hypothetically speaking...If someone caught a racoon that was in a person's attic, what should that person do with said animal nusaince? (Following the rule of law).

Assuming the animal does not have an evil disposition, does animal control just put the hypothetical animal down always?

I'm told releasing them to the woods is a no no.

My dad takes them swimming... Take animal down to creek in cage, place them both in water for 10 minutes, problem resolved... ;)

I've heard animal control won't take them.

My boss in Murray use to have problems with them all the time... animal control brought out traps for him and when he caught one they would come get it... call animal control and ask them...

Turn him loose by Legacy Hwy. That thing used to be carpeted with dead coon every morning. Not many anymore. The highway has done it's job...

Skin it, make hat. Eat the rest. Wear hat proudly while outside knowing you're the biggest badass on your street.

I know some people that know some people that would kill it quietly and hide it in the trash, and the state bird would feast on it.

Laws are different in Salt Lake and Davis Counties.. But here in SL it's illegal to release it again. We have a raccoon specialists that picks them up. 801-975-3307. They might could point you in the right direction

Some hypothetical individual should have put it down last night instead of waiting for Davis county animal control, as it possibly escaped the cage into a person's garage and ran amok whilst happy homeowners slept .

Neither said individual nor animal control has been able to re-incarcerate the hypothetical vermin as of yet.

Fact: Davis County puts down all racoons it locates.

Conclusion: After reading the city regulations and animal control code: If there is genuine fear of bodily harm individuals should react with deadly force without fear of repercussion based on safety and the lack of owner of the wild beasty.

Mean little shits! They will chew your fingers off without hesitation. Hypothetically speaking of course. So hypothetically when said person see's it again, kill it on sight!

Next time you catch it, load the trap into your vehicle, and quietly release it in the neighborhood of someone that has pissed you off in the past. They can be rather destructive hypothetical animals.

The Utah DWR official that taught my sons Hunter Safety program a few year back indicated that the local raccoon population are considered varmints and do significant damage to the nesting game bird population, as they love eggs. He said to shoot every raccoon that you can draw a bead on......twice.

I've also heard that hypothetical feral cats can be convinced to take a permanent nap after being caught in a live trap, by dropping them into an empty 5 gal bucket and placing a lid on it. Might work for hypothetical coons as well.

animal control in my area will not take raccoons. I was not allowed to transport it anywhere off of my property or I was breaking the law. I was not allowed to release the animal on my property or I was breaking the law. Basically, I could do nothing with it.

Totally Awesome
I bought an Escort pump action. 18" barrel. 12 ga. $130. Works great!

Just like this one.

I'm going to get a magazine extension, flash suppressor, and pistol grip stock.

Not the desired ending! But made me laugh, in a hypothetical way.
