You will be the only one who can answer this question however, if it was me I would try and prioritize what is most pressing. Maintenance on you daily driver is important, especially if you are in need of it for transportation. A new bed would be a concern as well, especially if you are not sleeping. As for the new parts for the Bronco, those I would put on the back burner. Your needs have to come before your wants. Trackin'?

But, since this is an off road forum then do you really need to ask. Get the gears and tranny done!

I say you do maintenance to the daily driver, because if you don't have a working car, your problems have just doubled, bruthah......

Take a little bit and put it on a small bill, maybe twice what you'd normally pay, to get it paid off just a tiny bit sooner. It'll be nice to see the next statement and it's got that big payment you made on there a month from the previous month, which will remind you that you made a good choice later. (reading through that just now, I don't really know if I even get what I'm saying here, but maybe you get what I'm trying to say)

Anyway, it's a win-win.

Daily driver takes it, or you're setting yourself up for a shift in life-status...once a person has owned a car for 10 years, going back to public transportation sounds like pure hell....

well...if i get the stuff for the bronco, it will be street legal and should do 65 down the highway.

my car is not in huge disrepair but it needs a new master cylinder,cam cuts, i think tie rod ends (makes a popping sound when you turn the wheel,i tried to see if they where bad but i couldn't get any movement out of the outers so must be the inners?)

paying bills....:-\ ......should...... and i could pay off a big chunk on my les schwab account or on my credit card or to open my AMF account....being laid off really hurt me.

i do need a new bed. i never sleep more then 5hrs a night.

That clicking sound is CV shafts, if it's clicking the boots over the joint are probably torn and leaked out the grease, letting the joint run dry. If your mechanically inclined and have a decent set of tools, they're an easy fix. Shops usually charge $250-300/per side IIRC. Been several years since I turned wrenches for a living.

dont think its the cv's. they dont click when i make a turn, it pop's when im like backing out of the drive way and turning the wheel and the suspension is moving. could be tho..the car was lowered 2.5'' and i lifted it back up to stock and it dont do it as bad as it did when it was lowered.

if i do the maintenance on the car i will get new cv's,tie rod's,brakes fixed,cruse control fixed if its not to spendy,cam cut's and have my mechanic go over the car. already forked out 370 bucks for new tires yesterday.
