I know a lot of you bounce between multiple family affairs being that you are married or some such thing. So was your Thanksgiving day more relaxed or were you travelling all over the earth like me?
I woke up at 9am and packed my bags for the impending drive to work later in the night. I was spared having to come in early but I did have to get to work eventually since we were drilling again.
I went to the parent's house at 10am and my brothers and I jumped on the X-Box for some Star Wars battlefront multiplayer.
We helped the mom lady haul all the grub to the table at 1pm and got after it.
Fortunately I got to hang out with my brothers for another few hours before hopping in the truck and heading for Rock Springs Wyoming to pick up some gear from my office at 6:30pm
I then headed to Vernal through Flaming Gorge dodging deer at every corner...I stopped counting at 30 but I got to Vernal at midnight.
From Vernal I headed back west and then south to Ouray Utah blowing through that craphole indian town and on south to the Flat Rock area of the Ouray Indian Reservation. When I hit the dirt I had 45 miles of dirt roads to get back to my rig but I got there in about an hour and 15 minutes putting me at the location overlooking Towave resevoir at 2am!!
It is now 11:58 AM the next day and I think I am going to finally go to sleep.
