Wheel Choices to be Street Legal

I'm going to 60's soon, front and rear on my 93 YJ. I want to stay legal. Right now my tires from outside to outside measures about 73 inches. The axles I am getting are 69.75 wms to wms. What wheels can I run to suck my tires in? Can I run a 15 inch wheel with dana 60's or will there be rubbing? If not, I guess I'll be selling my tires.

It is possible to run a 15" wheel on a 60. But you have to do 2 things. Grind the crap out of the brake caliper and get a wheel with less backspacing.... ie sticks out further.
You need a wheel that is 16.5" or larger with a lot of back spacing. You see a lot of people using stock H1 wheels to do this since they suck the tires way in. Bennifit is that they are common and cheap and beadlocks. Drawback is that they are 16.5" which restricts your tire choises. (sp)

H1's also stick your hub WAAAAY out w/SRW hubs. See MBryson's posts on the subject...

More so on the chev 60 than the fords.

I run H2's which have an inch less backspacing than the h1's on my 60 in my tacoma. I haven't gotten in trouble. Yet.

yeah, but not much... :( I'd like to run dually hubs on mine... but they put the tire a bit outside the fender and I'm not going to run flares. I'm gonna run spaaaaaccceeeerrs lol
