wheel spacers on a tow rig: good or bad?

I've got a '95 PSD with some wheels on it that i like, except they don't have enough back spacing for me. I don't want them to way out of the wheel wells, but they're tucked into them about 2" right now and it looks a little goofy. Would some 2" spacers be a bad idea? The most I usually haul is my 'runner on a flatbed.

I think you'd be ok. My buddy has 2" spacers on the rear of his duramax and he pulls all kinds of stuff.

I don't see the negative, you would just be using spacers to put the wheels back where they belong.
