Where can I get my 14 bolt drums turned?

Everywhere I have tried, a few shops, say they don't have the adapters to turn that big of a drum?

A few years ago I got robbed by the local Goodyear, $400 for new drums (these can't be turn, they are too worn) then $300 for labor for new axle seals. I wish I had tore into it myself:-\

I would except the whole parking brake deal. I know I could go with a park brake on the driveline. All that including the swap to disk is more money than I have.

Wow thats crazy. I can get new drums for $300 but don't really want to.

You could do discs with emergency brakes for that.

On a related note, think one Caddy caliper on a 14-bolt w/Detroit would hold for an e-brake? One caliper only.

From where? The parking brake kit alone is almost $400 plus new rotors, new calipers and brakes with new brake lines,plus brackets(if I didn't make them myself), we're talking $800 to switch them over to disks.

you need Caddy calipers, some brackets, maybe some studs, and the rotors.

Thats new large parts, then you will need the linkage for on the caliper, and some short brake hoses.

No! My Lincoln locked D60 w/ both Caddy Calipers bairly holds itself. They just don't work like drum brake emergency brakes:-\
