Where to buy AMMO

I had to run to Clinton this morning and thought I would hit up Walmart for ammo. They just put out some 22 ammo. I bought every last box of the 22LR they were putting out.

I don't know if that means all the stores got some but you may want to go look.

the one here in West Jordan had a bunch a week ago, then last time I walked by they were all sold out. Everyone one that I talk to says they have no clue when they get what they get for the sporting goods area.

The ammo comes via Fed Ex truck. It is not on any regular delivery schedule. New stock is ordered electronically through the register checkout each time a purchase is made. When there is a high/sudden demand for any items, the orders take a while to catch up.

In other words, don't blame me, the ammo isn't on my truck.

Last time I was at WM on 1300 & 300 they had an ammo box wit 1600rds of CCI mini-mags that I just HAD to have, I haven't seen much lately, but it never hurts to stop by.

This is exactly why us non-hoarders can't get ammo.. Not even a single box left. I was at Cabellas last month right after a restock of 22lr.. I only bought a few boxes, so others could get what they needed also.
I don't blame folks for wanted to have a bunch.. But it sure sucks trying to ever get some.

I don't blame him. Unless the store puts a limit on the purchase of them, why not stock up while you can? If he turns around and tries to sell it for a profit, that's where I'd have an issue.

Thanks Caleb. Caleb knows me well enough that I am not into trying to make a living selling Ammo.

Jeeper, I'm sorry .....wait, no I'm not. I could have bought up all the 40 S&W, 12 gauge, 20 gauge, 300 Win Mag, 9 mm, 270 and 223 they had. I only wanted the 22LR. If my wife was not with me I would only have bought 1 case of 500 but she wanted me to buy more. I convinced her that I was sufficiently stocked to protect our home. My kids like to shoot 22s so now I have a few more.
