Where to find??

A certain wheel... I'm looking for the utility style wheel that one would find as the spare wheel on most vehicles.. I would like to find a set of 4 6x5.5 lug pattern.

With as basic as this wheel is, I really don't think it should be as hard as it has been to find..

Is there a good place in town to look that sells loads of used wheels?

Seems like a lot of yards are using the steel wheels to make stands out of. The spare wheels are the first to go since they dont have matches.

I would hit up any U-pull it yard that leaves the tires on. There might be some spares hiding out still.

I hit up the pick and pull on 3300 S and about 600W, and it looks like they use all the spare for vehicle stands like you mentioned.

I guess i'll spend a few minutes on the horn when i get a second.

These are a rat-rod feature find and are WAAY harder to find then they ought to be. The prices are not what they should be either.

What about the factory steel FJ Cruiser wheels? They're quite similar.

If you know what they came on, then use car-parts.com. They have descriptions and some pictures of the stock wheels. I just picked up a alloy neon wheel here for work

perfect.. I found wheels in no time Great site.. best of all it is well laid out and very simple to navigate through it.

Greg, I hadn't considered the FJ wheels.. good thought. I'll look into that route as well.

If you are needing 2 stock tacoma spare tire rims (which that pic kind of looked like) I have 2 I was going to scrap. Let me know if you want them. They are 16 inch.

Well I got the two wheels from Lewis.. Thanks Lewis! 2 16x7 16 hole OEM wheels off a Taco.

Billy @ HH was a great help. He found the exact wheels I was looking for, despite the fact that I wasn't exactly sure what wheels I was looking for.

Turns out the 3rd gen 4runners got a 16x7 steel spare with 18 holes... Whereas the 2001+ Tacomas got the 16x7 steel spare with 16 holes. He's good

He's hookin it up, and they're open on Saturday. I'm satisfied.
