So I am doing a engine swap from 98 cummins 24 valve single cab and putting that engine into a 96 extended cab. I know the dodge automatics do not hold up well to the diesel power. So I want to build it now during the swap so I do not have any problems later. Any one know what or how to build it and a good shop to have it done at? Should I buy one done like from ATS or is there a good shop around that can build mine. I plan on using it as a tow rig mostly.

It dose have some after market goods on it.

Edge attitude with Juice chip.
300 hp injectors.
ATS intake and exhaust manifold.
Larger Cold air intake.

300horse injectors....really..... you better be getting a set of twins to keep that thing cool while towing

whatever brand you end up going with, make sure you have an installer that is certified to work with that brand. i had a bunch of ATS stuff done to my '99 CTD by a local dodge dealer. the dealer screwed up the shift-kit install and had to install a new one. the dealer and ATS got in a fight about who should have to pay for the problem and i ended up having to pay for part of it. super dumb situation that could have been avoided had i known ATS has a certified installer list

The 300 hp injectors commonly refer to the factory Bosch marine application injectors... They don't add 300 hp, they just make 300 total (~60-70 hp over stock.) Good all around injectors for reliable towing. My guess is that is what he has got going on.

If they actually are 300 hp over stock then yes, holy sh!t, get some air!

I second/third/fourth... the J&G recommendations. Good people.

Yes they are the Bosch injectors. Sounds like I may have found the place to rebuild it. If I drop your names is there any benefit for me or just you?
