Where was Hammer Down filmed?

Been a while since I put that one in... I'll third the Delta notion. Don't remember where else. I'd have to bust it out and watch it again to figure out where the rest of it was filmed. I bet I'd get a kick out of that one these days.

Were you in it? I borrowed it from a buddy a month or so ago, and Ive probably watched it 10 times. The comp rigs in it look more like my TJ than the current rigs. I've seen pictures from the Chainsaw trail and Desert Mountain, and it looks like the video, but I wasn't sure.

45 minutes 'till the new American Chopper comes on, so I'm gonna watch it real quick right now. :D I'll let ya know the locations. On this one I think I'm in the bonus stuff on the DVD more than the rest of the video.

Yeah, i just skimmed through it, I saw you twice. That is awesome. You'll get a kick out of it. It reminds me, my first trip to moab, my wife and i did Strike Ravine and Kane Creek and thought it was the baddest ass trip we ever took. Now we go back and look and can't believe we thought those were obstacles. Good times. :D

Oh man, it's been too long since I watched this video. Those were some fun trips. I remember a lot of the trips that Hammer Down was filmed on. Brings back some good memories. I laughed out loud when I saw the part about Nate losing his wheel at 50 miles per hour. That was awesome. You should have seen the length of the groove his rotor left in that road. Carl and Von, you guys need to dust off Hammer Down, and sit down and watch it. It'll put a smile on your face. Von, you need to get a rig put together. :)

Almost all of the trail footage is filmed in the Delta area. Almost all the comp footage was filmed in Vernal, but I swear I saw a little bit of St. George in there.

Von, you get that rig put together yet?

I counted four in the main video, but a couple of them were only of the bottom half or the side of my Jeep, so not too many people would recognize them as my Jeep.

I'm In the sweet spot, in the bonus features, and it even includes some footage of the first and only time I've ever spotted in competition (look'n good, Bart). :) Won't talk about the outtakes section...

Von, rig, NOW!

What are you talking about? He's got a lovely blue snowflake now :p

That doesn't count any more than my TJ counts.

Which is none...

Come on Von, watch the video, and tell me it doesn't make you want to go to Delta.

We watched that in Moab last weekend. It was on Channel 21, They were showing 1, 2 and 3. ALL DAY LONG.
The trail in Delta was Sawmill, if I recall. Not sure it's still open.
