who has busted a D300 front output?

Just got off the phone with Novak...they gave me the usual three more weeks that I have been getting for six months, but they were able to give me a price 289.00 for a 32 spline front output.

I have never busted a front output, and I am wondering if it is worth the piece of mind to buy one??

So who has busted one, and would you pony up at 289 a pop?

Don't know if this is applicable, but I spent the extra cash for a 32 spline front output when I bought my Atlas. If you're gonna have the t-case out and apart anyway it's prolly worth it, especially if you have the twin sticks and you plan on using it to front dig.

The rest of the rig is built to run 37-40" rubber

I have the 32 spline rear shaft...kinda leaning towards the "do it while it is apart" philosophy, but I wanted to know if anyone had busted one?

Twin sticks? You gonna front dig those 37s? Is there any possiblity that you will ever want to run water in your front tires?

yup already set up for front dig...the damn thing it too heavy to compete so water is not likely

If you are running 37s, and front digging, I'd do it, while it's out. I wonder if Creighton has ever broken his, don't think he has. He has been competing on it the last couple years, I know he has the 32 spline rear, but I think the front is stock, and I think he has the 4 to 1 gears in it now too. He has run water in his 35s, and front dug, where is that boy?

unless it is custom or someone hooked him up I would bet it is a stock front, to my knowledge there is not a production of 32 spline fronts available yet
