i just picked up an 82 dodge 3/4 ton with a 440, 3sp manual with granny low, np 208 xfer case, dana 44 front and dana 60 rear with 4.10 gears. Im looking for a suspension lift or combination suspension/body lift that will flex the best. I am in Las Vegas, NV. the truck will be used in the mountains, red rock canyon, trails littered with rocks, loose hard ground, and also contains a lot of cliffs, ledges, big boulders and other large sized obsticals. Climing through desert hills and trails such as dried out creek beds. so does anyone have any experiance with what lift flexes the best? thanks a ton guys. B.T.W., i have fab skills and can do shackle flips and spring perch movement and things like that. so let me know what you all use and have done. THANKS A TON!

b.t.w., im looking to clear 25x14.50 to 38x14.50 tires. what would be best for tire size? is it the bigger the better, or would i be better off with 35s for stability, i appreciate any and all help.

definetely go for the 25X14.50's, :D those lil' donuts would look reeeal nice on some 20" gold spoke rims. with your lift, you should also get hydraulics...not steering, but the cool kind so you can bounce down the road, and up any ledges when your off road, for that matter.

Betts, Deaver, or National all three are spring companies out of S. Cali. All make flexxy leafsprings custom to what you want. I would go with Betts or Deaver....My Nationals sagged pretty bad. You may pay more than an off the shelf spring, but it will be well worth the $$.

As for tires, with the 44 frt axle and the power of that 440, I'd stay with 35-37's. That motor will be hell on that axle. Otherwise I agree with what Mbryson said in the other thread.
