Pig's feet. What is the deal? Watching Iron Chef America, they just went on and on about freakin' pig's feet and how "it's the perfect marriage between the fat and richness". UGH.

I want to throw up. That is not food!!!!

Or in my former life either fresh from the pasture or dried out in a bag:freak:

1995, talking to a guy I worked with

"So yeah, dude, I'm sitting there, guy sells me these shrooms stinkin' like **** with bits of.. stuff on 'em... I woof 'em down, then about like 30 seconds later, I'm puking into my hand!"
" That sucks, waste of shrooms..."
" Naw man, I was all 'F**k that, I'm not puking up $100!!' I shoved that sh*t back down the pipe, it was all good"
"Duuuuude.. that's how you know you might have a problem."

I'm still trying to figure out how people eat mushrooms! :wtf:
Yeah, mushrooms are the absolute worse, they are the devil. My wife will buy them and sauté them in butter and eat them straight, or on a steak, or a burger, or a...well, anything. I never understood the concept of eating fungus?

Pigs feet = :ugh:
tomotoes are only good when processed into something else (aka, salsa, ketchup, etc).
Mushrooms are delish. :D

Some of you know that my job takes me to far off places. Sometimes this means eating "unconventional" food. Recently, while in Argentina, I ate 5 year old ham. It had been hanging on a hook, covered in rock salt (and mold) for 5 YEARS! Guess what... it was TASTY!!!

Pigs feet are actually really good. I ate them in a soup with cow intestine and I have to say that the pigs feet were the best part. You have to suck the meet out from the bones, but it really is some good tasting meat. The cow intestine was a different story. It smelled like wet dog!

What in the hell is wrong with you! Thats like saying you like to eat snails cooked in butter and garlic oil. I mean who would seriously consider... actually that sounds pretty good...

I agree on the mushroom bit... When Im coached to eat them, I always point out that athletes foot is a fungus as well as mushrooms.

Ill bet the mushroom eaters dont want to lick someones athletes foot covered toes.
So I wish they would quit bugging me to eat them...lol

Mmmm, love tomatoes... Grab a shaker of salt and munch it like an apple! Knew a guy years ago wouldn't eat them on anything. Something about wouldn't eat anything that "wasn't finished".

Shrooms... Especially sautee`d with onions over steak and on burgers... I don't recall ever doing the funny ones though.

From my Navy days over seas, I always ate locally. I even found some of the best food was the mom-n-pop shops in alleys and back streets. Cheaper and more of it. And sometimes, if you ask what it is, you won't finish it!!!

Man,

Can't beleive most of you's don't like tasty shroons sauted in garlic and butter. I could eat a whole bowl of em just like that. I personally like them best in an omlette.

As for tomatoes, so many different ways to eat em, but you haven't lived until you've tried a fried green tomatoe...great stuff.
