You can also add the major role he played in suing banks so they would be forced to make dubious loans to unqualifed borrowers...because "everyone needs to be a home owner".

I think the better thing to ask would be, "Why do you like Canidate X?" By asking who you are against, it just stirs the pot and creates negativity, I think that there is too much of that in modern politics.

I am for McCain because

1. he's not as bad as Obama
2. his 2nd amendment record is more in line with my view
3. he is more in line with my thinking on spending
4. I like his view of the situation overseas
5. He's right on Iran
6. His choice of VP shows some actual transformative thinking
7. Experience counts


Mostly, he's not Obama. I will not forgive McCain/Feingold though.
