No it is a double cab, I believe that it is a 69. The FC 150 didn't come with the rear passanger area like the VW,

I'm still gonna disagree with you. That first pic you posted is NOT a VW.

Sorry to jump in here and stir the pot, but it is a VW. It is roughly a 71. The lights are pretty distinct. The little square turn signals above the round headlights....dead give away.
Of course having a father that is a VW freak really didn't help me develop any skills other then spotting minor differences in VW to tell year and model.

I can't say I know VWs all that well, but that first photo sure looks like a VW to me.
