i was thinking of running two transfer cases under my sammy instead gearing the one. i know that with the kits you can loose up to 20% of your top speed depending on the kit. i go slow as it is. i already have a spare case. i want to know if i rune dual will my top speed suffer much?

Dosen't the sammi case have reduction in high range? I am pretty sure that it does.... Anyway, if you add a second you are adding that much more gear to your final drive ratio, so yes, you will lose some top speed.

I'm not really sure if you're asking about speed or power. For what it's worth, when I dualed my Yota, I did notice a power loss on the street.

not sure yet how I'm going to do it yet. i want to make sure i want to before i put to much thought into it. i was thing directly behind the first one. i ll tilt the first one up has high as i can then tilt the bottom one as low as i need to. hope fully i wont loose to much clearance. then put in a plate to protect it. sugestions

sami cases are like 1.4 reduction in high or something like that. So you would loose top speed if you mated them. The sami case is usually not the best option. Most people choose to run a tracker case then the sami case. YOu can also run a tracker trans, to tracker case then toyota, or dual toyotas, thorugh OTT. There are several homebrew kicker 3 setups out there two which is the tracker married to the sami case, on pirate and zuwharrie.com. I have a tracker case lying around also. 20 bucks

20$ for the case i think i will take it. where are you? what are the gears in a tracker case? i'm not to worried about the shaft lengths. i will be making new shafts after i lift it, and i don't think shaft clearance will be a problem.
