Will it ever stop snowing?!

Stuck at work. Just got the plow truck stuck, too. Guess I'll have to wait for my relief to help me pull it out. I'm gonna go make friends with the snow blower. Again.

Inquiring minds want to know how much snow you have? To date, in the last 2 weeks, I have gotten to pull 9 people out of the ditch. Pretty good odds considering the fact that last night's was a big ole dually and it's only the first week of January.

We've had about 2ft in Lehi in the last 1.5 weeks.... it's melted down to about a foot. All that with 3,500 less feet than you -_-

We're up on the bench, so we got a little more. I just measured and we still have 20 inches. It was 40* all day so it melted down a lot. I'd say we had 30" last night. It was snowing almost an inch per hour. I got darn near eight inches in an eight hour shift.

Well, I must admit to having little or no sympathy for you. We currently have over 3 feet in the back yard and the snow piles at the intersections are so freakin' tall, I can't see around them in my truck. Good thing MaKenzie is a big girl and I always win when playing chicken with oncoming traffic. :)

The propane truck did give me a run for my money, but all's well that ends well.....right?

It took a couple of years but the last heavy wet snow killed my temporary garage

That's how we are here, too... The snow is so deep along the driveway that the snow blower won't blow over the top anymore. The snow is so deep in teh back yard where the sun doesn't hit and I can see in the rain gutters wihtout a ladder or standing on my tippy toes...

We had to make our dogs a new 'home' on the porch because they can no longer get into theirs - the snow is above their roof.

The worst part though are getting in and out of parking lots in my Acura. Either they have very large tummy bumpers or are now VERY deep of water.

We had some warm weather today though with some light rain. Snow is melting so fast on the roof I can hear it inside the house. Kinda freeky sounding....

I don't care how much we get at the house. That's easy enough to shovel and the kids love it. It just sucks up at the plant were I work--miles of sidewalk and road I have to keep clear. I guess it is part of my job. But I'd rather be posting on RME.

Winters in Fruita make me laugh... yesterday I saw a Grader clearing the roads, then today we had a Backhoe on our street. We normally don't get much snow, so Fruita & Grand Junction haven't invested in lots of snow plows. We've currently got over 6" on the ground, usually 2-3" falls and it melts off by noon.
