Will Rubicon stock tires fit a late model Tacoma 4x4?

I think Tacomas came with 245's and Rubicon's are 255. But Tacomas seem to have more than enough room in the wheel wells for a bit taller tire.

Rubicon is 255/75 r17, not sure on the Tacoma. It's a friend's 2015. I thought they came with 17" wheels.

Friend is not mechanically inclined, can't find the size on the sidewall. We are not in the same state.

Can he text you a phone pic? My buddy and his wife both drive Tacoma's. Her's has 16" wheels but his came with 17's and I'm about 90% sure those tires would fit just fine on his - in stock trim. But, there's still that 10% that I'm not sure .

I gave them my stock tires off my TJ Rubi, which were 245's on 16's and as I recall, they were exactly the same size as what came stock on that truck.

I think 17in are an option for certain trims, most Taco's come with the 16in flavor. But Rubi's tires are a metric 32? if I remember right. I put some metric 33's on my second gen Taco to test fit, it was quite tight but they were also a lot wider than rubi tires.
