Anyone know where I can find some of those bubble type window well covers for a house. This house if very old and the windows are the type that tilt back and so they dont fully seal well and I would like to keep the snow from building up against them and causing more water damage in the basement.

get some lexan and use clear adhesive sealant to adhere it to the outside of the window frame.. Thick plastic sheeting sucks for that application... then do the thin plastic sheeting on the inside of the window for some R value :)
