Wrenching party tomorrow (Sat, Dec 1) - my house

I've got a lot of work to do in the next few days. I could use a hand if anyone wants to come hang out. Pizza and drinks will be served. It's supposed to be a warm 55* tomorrow. :D Call or text if you need my address. 8oh one 7ate7 968four

Starting around 10 AM. Going 'till midnight.


Here's what needs to go down:

wrenching party tomorrow. My house. i'll order pizza for anyone who doesn't have anything better to do than swap parts between my 3 toyotas. Here's what's going down:


Green Taco:

- remove rear axle and springs/shackles
- remove shower
- remove rock lights
- remove elocker wiring
- remove rear bumper
- remove front diff (again)

- install stock springs/rear axle
- install 4.10 front diff
- install stock rear bumper
- bolt up DS
- bleed rear brakes


4Runner:

- remove rear third member (eventually)
- remove front diff (eventually)
- remove front struts (eventually)
- remove UCAs (eventually)

- install stock struts (eventually)
- install stock ucas (eventually)
- install 4.30 third (eventually)
- install front diff (eventually)
- remove j-shift tcase (still debating)


White Taco:

- remove rear axle/springs
- remove front diff
- remove front UCA (eventually)

- install elocker axle and rear springs from green taco
- install 4.88 front diff (eventually)
- install 4.88 rear gears (eventually)
- install rear tube bumper
- install shower

Yes, that's a TON of work. If I'm not sick of wrenching now, I definitely will be in the next few days.

Dude! I might be down. Tomorrow might be tiff but any day next week or weekend is a definite yes! My crawler is in Cali so I've been itchin to do some wrenchin

no kidding. I wish I had a lift. The rear axle swaps should go the fastest. With a few guys I'll bet we could swap them in an hour.

I know I am a ways away from most of you, but please be advised that my lift is avail to about any RMEr on saturdays, weekends and evenings.

Dude, I missed this thread! I would have come over but leaving to go downtown with some family.

Steve's wrenching parties are a great way to get out and meet some fellow RME peeps, had I been home I would have driven the 50 minutes to come down and hang out.
